Steve Keyworth ( Artistic Director and Writer, 5065 Lift )

I write and shape stories and bring them to life – I think this is a brilliantly jammy way to be able to spend my time.  I’ve evolved from working solely in theatre to encompass film, TV, animation, radio and even stand-up.  Working on the 5065 Lift with Host has put me in contact with people and places that I’d never have met otherwise and has given me a passion for new ways of working.  It means I’m constantly rubber-necking at unusual spaces to see if we can produce work there.  It’s a great environment to work and they were very understanding about the Death From Above 1979 album I brought in to play this afternoon.
