Kiki Kendrick
I joined Host in 1997, my first job was to create and produce the Full Voice 'Love Your Body' campaign for the Body Shop with the unforgettable, totally lovable Ruby - the walking, talking, living doll. became a campaigner (for real women) a protester (against the re-launch of Ms World outside channel 5) and a bit of a TV celebrity (she was invited up to Granada and various fashion shows). Don't tell anyone, but it was me inside that rubber body suit and to tell you the truth, I much preferred being Ruby than Kiki. People would hug me in the street, men and women would just come up and tell me that they loved me - I felt like the most popular girl at school, even though I'm a grown woman!
After that I was one of the creators of the 5065 Lift (well I was in the room at the time) and even performed a one-woman show and was part of a cell comedy inside it!
Now I'm working on a self esteem project that I want to launch in Edinburgh and then take it around schools and colleges in the UK - I've also been appointed as chief cake maker, making lots of 'organic' cakes for healthy Host meetings.
My favourite project is Ruby - you'll find it's still The Body Shop's favourite too.
