Ecotricity
Ecotricity was founded by Dale Vince in 1996. The world's first renewable energy company is unlike any other, it generates power to match consumption and invests more income back into renewable energy projects to grow supply. As Ecotricity evolves it has to reach out to ‘lighter green’ consumers and its language and approach have to change. Only so many people dribble and drool over wind turbines and not everyone dreams in dark green. Host was commissioned to shift the company’s thinking and develop strategies for growth. In the process it became clear that Dale is to renewables what Branson was to airlines - a revolutionary who will change the dynamics of the industry. So, while ecotricity develops local power systems, discreet domestic turbines and a non-nuclear option… we can dribble and drool over a slice of toast.
